Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for contributing to the marketing, sales and
implementation of MathWorks sophisticated engineering products to
customers in the ADAS/Autonomous Driving domain; designing and
developing sophisticated software product models and simulations to
demonstrate MathWorks model-based design and automatic code
generation products to customers in the ADAS/Autonomous Driving
domain; developing technical engineering demonstrations of
MathWorks control design, code generation, and
verification/validation embedded software products, including
MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow; creating custom technical
solutions for MathWorks customers; gathering customer software
requirements to inform development and customization of MathWorks
model-based design tools; analyzing customers requirements, guiding
product evaluations, creating proof-of-concepts, and building
successful development strategies; and developing demonstration
programs and application examples that illustrate how the
capabilities of MathWorks software fit to customers needs. Requires
frequent travel and on short notice. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Automotive Systems, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of
experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience
developing automotive embedded systems. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise developing automotive embedded systems
using Model Based Design with MATLAB and Simulink, including
performing system and software requirements analysis, simulation,
algorithm development, production code generation, verification and
validation, and target ECU vehicle testing according to safety
standards -- ISO 26262 and IEC 61508; and developing automotive
production-level embedded algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, and
C/C++. Demonstrated expertise collecting and analyzing technical
customer support evaluations; and developing technical product
marketing presentations of Simulink- and MATLAB-based modeling
systems and proof of concept models to integrate software tools
into customers product development workflow in the automotive
embedded systems domain. Demonstrated expertise performing sensor simulation within an
automated driving environment using MATLAB- and Simulink-based
toolboxes or using Python and C++ with Robot Operating
System(ROS)-based libraries. Demonstrated expertise performing verification and validation of
Advanced Driving Assistance System and Autonomous Driving (ADAS/AD)
technologies, including sensors, vehicle, and traffic models; and
compiling C code for real-time simulation and Hardware-in-the-loop
