Occupational Summary Coordinate and maintain an efficient office operation and perform responsible administrative duties of a complex and confidential nature in support of office activities to relieve the supervisor of various administrative responsibilities. Provide front desk coverage and greeting guests Manage event planning and logistics which will include space reservation; guest speaker accommodations; and catering needs Coordinate event communication to the University community who submit calendar space requests Experience with social media such as Instagram and Facebook Reconcile departmental expenses via Concur, an expense management platform (formal training may be required); systemize documentation of the expenses Post student job announcements Coordinate campus tours for middle/high school students Required Qualifications At This Level Education/Training Work requires a broad knowledge of clerical and accounting principles and practices normally acquired through two years of post secondary education in secretarial science or a related business field. Experience Work generally requires three years of related secretarial/clerical experience to become competent in the administration of complex office functions related to office organization and management, communications, and budgetary/accounting activities.
