Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of
MathWorks sophisticated simulation and automation software
products; designing and developing complex software product models
and simulations to demonstrate MathWorks Advanced Driver Assistance
Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) tools to customers in
the automotive industry; developing software for the simulation and
verification of path planning, perception, and controls algorithms;
engaging with customers to influence development and verification
of customer computer-based automation systems using MathWorks
tools; recommending technical approaches using existing products
and developing proof of concept solutions for future products;
developing specialized ADAS/AD support tools; and using system
level simulation; identifying and addressing the technical needs of
customers and translating their objectives into programmatic
frameworks to facilitate and increasing customer adoption of MATLAB
and Simulink solutions, specifically with respect to our Advanced
Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) tools,
working as a part of an engineering team to design, develop, and
implement software applications for various automotive customers;
applying the highly complex technical concepts of computer
information systems, simulation, algorithmic programming, and
software design and development to contribute to technical sales
support, sales engineering, software and solution development,
product adoption, technical product demonstrations, and technical
guidance in the use of proprietary MathWorks products in the
automotive domain. Requires frequent travel and on short
notice. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer
Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign
education equivalent) and two (2) years of experience in job
offered or two (2) years of experience in automotive embedded
software development. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in automotive embedded software
development in C or C++. Demonstrated expertise performing Advanced Driver Assistance
Systems (ADAS) software development and using C or C++ for
deployment. Demonstrated expertise developing test plans to perform
developmental tests on automotive embedded software products. Demonstrated expertise documenting, analyzing, and reviewing
technical requirements for the development of automotive safety
