Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
testing software to support products used by customers in the
mechanical engineering domain; developing software to test and
expand Simulink capabilities in the automotive space, a technology
which is used by customers in the automotive industry to speed up
embedded controller development and calibration, and deliver
vehicles that meet market requirements for safety, comfort,
functionality, fuel economy, and vehicle performance; designing,
testing, and delivering high quality Simulink blocks and reference
applications; ensuring mission critical quality in new Simulink
features; performing design, implementation, maintenance and
evolution of a framework in support of the next generation of
automotive components that run across multiple platforms and
devices; identifying product and testing requirements;
participating in design reviews and ensuring feature testability;
developing efficient and extensive automated test suites; designing
and developing robust testing tools; effectively communicating
testing needs and quality reports to other engineers; and
developing and monitoring metrics to monitor feature quality.
Education and Experience:
Masters degree in Engineering or a related field (or foreign
education equivalent) and no experience.
Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB and Simulink.
Demonstrated expertise writing and debugging automated test
plans and tests cases including writing unit, function and system
tests using MATLAB and Simulink to simulate automotive systems --
powertrain and vehicle dynamic systems.
Demonstrated expertise performing root cause analysis for
automotive systems and using bug tracking system in software
maintenance, troubleshooting, bug fixing and release.
Demonstrated expertise in Model-Based system design and control
of vehicle dynamics using MATLAB and Simulink to model and test
