is responsible for hardware/ electrical design for automotive
products (infotainment systems, displays, audio unit, ADAS
application, etc.). Responsible for leading the review and analysis
of system requirements, executing, and evaluating designs,
performing circuit analysis, overseeing PCB layout, supporting
DV/PV testing, and leading complex engineering projects through the
full product development lifecycle to meet the customer
requirement. Demonstrate the ability to plan, define, and execute
the hardware development for automotive electronic products with no
supervision.What You Will DoLead the hardware/electrical design for
the project to achieve project and product development in time and
quality through the whole product life cycle.Responsible for
realization of system designs, schematics, and/or schematics
integration of hardware applications in the range of medium to high
complexity under consideration of Harman guidelines.Analyze
customer requirements and determine appropriate circuit
implementations.Work with PCB layout engineer to implement
optimized PCB layouts with compliance to EMC & manufacturing design
rules while meeting the customer and mechanical packaging
requirements.Design, simulate and verify the electrical circuits
and determine the performance characteristics using SPICE,
Hyperlynx, ANSYS, and/or other engineering CAE analysis tools.Plan
and implement HW verification during product development, to ensure
the electrical design meets specifications and requirements, by
recording and analyzing test data.Manage and release the electrical
BOMs using Harman configuration management processes and
systems.Support failure analysis, investigation, and resolve of EMC
issues in EMC/EMI compliance testing;Support the development and
review of the environmental and EMC hardware validation test plans
with the validation engineers;Support the manufacturing team
related to DFM and test reviews and technical build issues.Lead
electronic design reviews both with the internal cross-functional
team and customer reviews.Support the development and review of
DFMEAs.Mentor & guide young engineering talent with technical
expertise.Follow current hardware development process and also
contribute to process improvement.Support departmental initiatives
and activities as directed by the department supervisorWhat You
NeedBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related
discipline. A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering is
preferred.10 years of experience in the field of automotive
electronics engineering.Hands-on experience with electrical
schematic and PCB layout realization tools, such as Mentor
Graphics, OrCAD, Cadence, Zuken, or similar.Familiarity with
electrical simulation tools is preferred, such as ANSYS signal
integrity and power integrity, SPICE, or similar.Familiarity with
infotainment-related technologies is preferred, such as high-speed
SOCs, DRAM, flash, microcontrollers, CAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, GPS,
WiFi, LVDS video, cell modems, radio tuners, USB, audio amplifiers,
displays, and linear and switching power supplies.Familiarity with
Class AB, Class D amplifier output topologies is
preferred.Knowledge of Automotive EMC requirements is preferred,
such as CISPR -25, FCC part 15, or ISO 11451.Knowledgeable of the
use of electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal
generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and
multimeters.Ability to troubleshoot issues with electronic circuits
and determine corrective actionsAbility to analyze and optimize
circuits and designs for cost.Demonstrated self-starter with the
ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced
global automotive design and manufacturing environment.Demonstrates
the ability to transition from theoretical to implementation-based
thinking. Very strong analytical skills and detail-oriented. Strong
communication skills, with good knowledge of spoken and written
