Job Description:
Our client, a leader in Auto-parts manufacturing, is seeking a
Automotive Battery Technician to join their team. As a Battery
Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department
supporting manufacturing operations. Job Title: Automotive Battery
Technician Location: Warren, MI Pay Range: $22 - $25 per hour
What's the Job? Modify, test, and repair machinery and equipment
under the guidance of engineering staff or scientists. Prepare
parts sketches, write work orders, and coordinate with outside
contractors for parts fabrication. Draft detailed drawings or
sketches for manufacturing and assembly processes. Review project
instructions and blueprints to determine test specifications and
troubleshoot technical issues. Inspect drawings for clarity,
measure dimensions, and ensure designs meet original specifications
for form and function. What's Needed? Associate's degree in
engineering technology or a related field. 2-4 years of relevant
experience in mechanical or industrial settings. Basic skills in
making sketches, engineering drawings, and performing calculations.
Knowledge of engineering science and technology applications.
Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and related
