Job Description Job Description Job Description Define and optimize production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards Develop and maintain documentation for production support, data collection, and process improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to approve new product designs, tooling, and processes for production readiness Coordinate and attend tooling tryouts at vendor and manufacturing facilities, ensuring successful implementation Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, scrap minimization, and overall efficiency, utilizing lean and synchronous manufacturing techniques Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Fanuc robotic systems for automated processes, ensuring reliability and precision Support procurement coordination by communicating tooling and part requirements to purchasing for timely delivery Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for cost-saving improvements Maintain and track open items for new product launches and process changes Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and vendors in resolving installation and maintenance issues Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a positive, productive work environment Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred) Hands-on experience with Fanuc robotics programming and troubleshooting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cycle time optimization and scrap reduction Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and SolidWorks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Work Environment The position requires working onsite, ensuring a collaborative and hands-on approach to manufacturing processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Baltimore, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
