If you are hired you will be reporting to a Senior Manager and be responsible for:--- Managing the state income and franchise tax compliance process.--- Help prepare and review tax provision workpapers (ASC 740)--- Analyze, research, and record tax positions for the corporation regarding state income and franchise tax returns--- Oversee state income tax and local governmental audits--- Support the organization, company and team with continuous improvement and help to identify tax saving opportunities--- You and your team will be asked to research and provide analysis on the impacts of state tax around mergers and acquisitions and other transactions--- Identify changes to state tax law and assess how it impacts this corporate and advise senior leadership for best in class tax planning.Our client offers an exceptional tax team, opportunities to advance, rotate and enhance your background and an excellent benefit program.
