Job Title: Director of Project & Change Management

Reports to: Vice President, Business Strategy & Education (Operational Excellence)

FLSA Status: Exempt

Classification: Fulltime

Purpose:

The Director of Project and Change Management will lead the organization's project management efforts. They will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, control and closing of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and within budget. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring that changes to the organization which relate to these projects, whether they be structural, process-related, or technological, are implemented smoothly and effectively, minimizing disruption, and maximizing the benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project management processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead a team of project managers, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop and manage change management plans, ensuring changes are completed on time, within scope, and with minimal disruption to the organization.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet business objectives.
• Communicate project & change status to stakeholders, escalating and resolving issues as necessary.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to set the organization's project & change management strategy.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in project management.
• Develop and implement methodologies for measuring the effectiveness of project management processes.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered according to project & change management standards, processes, and methodologies. Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in project and/or change management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, and Scrum.
  • Experience with change management methodologies such as Prosci, Lewin, and Kotter.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
  • Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Jira, and Asana.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science Required.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications preferred
  • CMC or other relevant change management certifications preferred
