Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.We are currently seeking weekends shift coverage- days or overnights, 12 hour shifts. Overnight shifts are awake, working shifts. If hours are available and you work 38 or more hours per week including a shift on a weekend day, a 100.00 dollar bonus is given in addition to the hourly pay rate. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer's CareRequirements to be a CAREGiver: One year of caregiving experience required, preferably on an overnight shift- overnight shifts are awake- no sleeping while on duty. Day shifts are 7 am until 7 pm- Overnights are usually 7 pm until 7 am.
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • 21 years of age or older (bonding purposes)
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen- we cover the cost
  • Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance-
