• Schedule: PRN/Rotating Shift- Intern hours include working one four hour helper shift every other week. Every other weekend. One major holiday and during school breaks and summer hours to work 32 to 40 hours.

  Responsibilities
  
  Perform the duties of a staff pharmacist under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  
  
  • Under direct supervision, maintain proper narcotic documentation and ensure proper distribution of narcotic medications.
  • Under direct supervision, ensure appropriate selection of dosing, administering and monitoring of medication.
  • Dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas. May compound medications.
  • Assist pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles. Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients.
    Requirements
    
    Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    
    * Registered Pharmacy Intern, Pharmacist-Ed Ltd-5 preferred.
    
    Education:
    
    * High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
    
    Additional Preferences
    
    Prior experience preferred
