New Grads Welcome!The Intermediate Care Unit is a 25-bed unit
caring for a variety of patients. Our unit falls under the critical
care umbrella. This unit is considered a cardiac unit and the
patients are typically monitored on telemetry. IMC is a fast-paced
environment; the acuity of the patients can change rapidly. The IMC
staff works together as a team to provide the patients with the
utmost efficient care.We are looking for new team members to join
the unit that will exhibit high energy, with innovative ideas to

Hospital is a 148-bed, Magnet-designated hospital that is a
recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly
serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers
specialty services that include 24-hour emergency care, wound care
and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain
management clinic, orthopedic surgery, an inpatient rehabilitation
facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT with
cardiac scoring, fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and
ultrasound (MSK and elastography).Scope of workAs a Clinical Nurse
with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is
paramount. You'll be responsible for using the nursing process
framework and incorporating patient-family-centered care principles
to ensure the highest quality of care. Under the direction of the
Nurse Leader, you'll be a vital member of our team, making a real
difference in the lives of our patients and their
families.Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at
least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of
experience in a licensed health care role and must have
successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90
days
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within
6 months
- Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
- 1 year of experience as an RN in the ICU PreferredHow Corewell
