Job Description:

A Physician Assistant is needed to provide locum coverage in the General Surgery department. This role is primarily OR-focused, with a heavy emphasis on bedside first-assist in robotic surgical cases across multiple specialties. The assignment offers consistent weekday hours with no call responsibilities. Job Responsibilities: Serve as bedside first-assist in robotic surgical cases (GYN, urology, general surgery, bariatrics). Perform port placement and closure of port sites. Provide occasional assistance in non-robotic surgical cases as needed. Handle discharge/depart documentation and outpatient prescriptions when required. Collaborate with surgeons, residents, scrub techs, and circulating nurses in a high-volume OR setting.
