Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of recent hospital-based experience, ARRT (CT) certification, and BLS, for a Level 2 Trauma facility. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital-based ER, inpatient, and outpatient CT department - Level 2 Trauma center setting - Operate GE and Phillips CT equipment - Afternoon shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts - Rotating coverage every other weekend and potential to work holidays - May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital - No blocked scheduling allowed - Primary responsibilities include performing CT exams, administering IV contrast using power injectors, and assisting radiologists with complex procedures - Expected to maintain high standards in customer service and teamwork - Must consistently follow radiation safety practices and participate in maintaining protocols - Required to document all studies and ensure images are properly uploaded and indexed in PACS and Radiology Information System - Responsible for preparing rooms, monitoring supply levels, and setting up for procedures - Must be flexible, self-directed, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning - May occasionally work in a mobile or fixed hospital unit and must be able to lift and move patients or equipment over 10 lbs - RTO must be requested prior to assignment; requests after assignment starts require manager approval Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience in a hospital setting required - Active ARRT (CT) certification required - Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required - Active Michigan license required if applicable - High school diploma or GED required - Experience with GE and Phillips CT scanners mandatory - Must complete online modules and pass, typically completed onsite prior to start date - COVID-19 vaccination is required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-636129.
