been serving the Lucas County community for over 50 years. We are
the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use
disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and
child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential,
Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development
and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical
services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care.
Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both
patients and staff. General Summary: The Withdrawal Management
Nurse provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing medical
detoxification from substances such as alcohol and drugs.
Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering
medications as prescribed, managing withdrawal symptoms, and
ensuring patient safety and comfort. The nurse collaborates with a
multidisciplinary team, including RNs, physicians, and behavioral
health professionals, to support patients through the detox
process. Strong assessment skills, documentation accuracy, and
compassionate patient care are essential for this role. Hours:
Three, 12-hour weekly shifts; 7:00pm - 7:30am with a rotating
weekends and holidays Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Obtain
vital signs and assessments. Triage client concerns, assuring
timely communication with appropriate practitioner/provider Provide
clinical and nursing services as assigned to clients who have
substance abuse disorders and mental health issues in the community
withdrawal management/mental health center setting. Identify and
respond to medical or psychiatric emergencies. Obtain prior
authorizations for medications and treatments for clients. Enroll
clients in drug assistance and programs. Medical case management
for the medication assisted treatment patients including treatment
planning, monitoring of progress and completion of Ohio outcomes.
Follow up on requested labs to facilitate communication with the
practitioner/provider and the client. Assure medical record
completeness for new clients and clients who are being discharged
from the hospital and other settings. Review these charts to ensure
relevant information is available. Provide support for the other
nursing and ancillary staff within the center. Perform additional
duties as assigned. Specific/Individual Competencies: Strong
computer skills and ability to operate in the EHR Recognize
critical results obtained in the assessment and vitals and the
importance of urgency in relaying the information to the
appropriate provider/practitioner. Demonstrate knowledge and
ability to implement care within the framework of standard nursing
practice and agency policy and procedure. Knowledge and ability to
administer and dispense medication in accordance with physicians’
orders. Knowledge of community resources, hospitals, community
mental health services, and other appropriate referrals for use
when indicated. Organizational Competencies: Demonstrate knowledge
of the agency mission, vision, goals and philosophy as well as the
policies and procedures. Strives for high client satisfaction by
providing leadership and/or assistance to coworkers and clients

Position Qualifications: Required Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or
Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and can administer
medication. Professional experience related to psychiatry and
substance use disorders. Must have valid driver’s license and
insurance. Preferred Experience with supervisory responsibilities
At least 2 years experience working with medication assisted
