Job Description:
Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide
evaluations and therapy for communication and swallowing disorders
in a skilled nursing facility in Silver Spring, MD. A recruiter
will contact qualified applicants with further details. Minimum
Requirements Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an
accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year
(CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from
ASHA. Active Maryland SLP license is required to start the
assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
Experience treating dysphagia and performing bedside swallow
evaluations preferred. Experience with electronic medical records
preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing
Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 0800-1630. Work
Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat (per VMS work days).
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week (per VMS guaranteed hours).
Contract Length: 14 weeks (VMS contract weeks). Meal Break: 30
minutes. Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as
