Job Description: The Department of Pathology at the University
of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) is seeking a full-time, tenure
track, academic renal pathologist. UTMC is a tertiary care center
that supports UT College of Medicine & Life Sciences programs for
medical students, graduate students, and residents in a wide
variety of programs. The Department of Pathology has training
programs for AP/CP residents, for pathologists' assistants, and for
laboratory technicians. The successful candidate will share primary
clinical responsibilities at UTMC with eight other pathologists.
Teaching of residents and medical students is a critical part of
this position, and the successful applicant must have exemplary
teaching skills. Excellent opportunities are available for
independent or collaborative research, and the candidate is
expected to develop a strong publication resume. The University of

Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Must be
Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
Board certified Compleation of a Renal Pathology Fellowship
