Job Description:

A Lead Report Developer is responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of reports for enterprise-wide reporting solutions. The Lead Report Developer will focus on the following areas:1. Report Development - create reports and semantic layers using enterprise reporting solutions2. Report Development Supervision - oversee both onshore and offshore report developers3. Data Quality - conduct unit testing on ensure reports are thoroughly tested and high quality4. Reporting Architecture & Tools - research and provide input on defining reporting architectures and tools that meet up time and scalability requirementsWe leverage cloud services, best-of-breed technologies, and external teams to augment our capabilities with sufficient capacity. This means that in addition to being a great technologist and individual contributor, you need to be able to review and collaborate with partners to ensure that we get the same quality from them too.As a company, Lineage Logistics leverages state-of-the-art technology to meet our customers'' needs, assist in our international growth, and create an infrastructure that enables Lineage to lead the industry.As the ideal candidate for this position, you will exhibit the technical expertise, business acumen and flexibility required to successfully work with all levels of Lineage''s organization.Essential Job Functions: Provide input to technical vision and strategy for all reporting solutions Contribute to discussions on overall reporting architecture solutions and design Possess the ability to a create robust, scalable, and sustainable reporting architectures that support global requirements Perform detailed data analysis and translate business requirements into technical designs Oversee a team of employees and vendor partners to build integrated and optimized reporting solutions Automate, monitor, and support reporting solutions, and re-design if required to make them faster and/or more reliable Execute projects utilizing Agile methodologies Work closely with DBAs to help ensure the database physical design meets the functional and performance requirements of the reporting applications utilizing the data Collaborate with the Lineage product team and data/API developers on data mapping and report / application designRequirements: Possess prior experience in designing enterprise-wide reporting solutions Exhibit full life cycle experience in building, implementing, and supporting reporting solutions Grow and maintain a broad and deep knowledge of reporting technologies Possess a willingness to be coached and proactively seek feedback Handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously Properly set priority and order for work Work in a fast-paced, agile environment Ask for help and provide it to others Understand your skills and your talents and apply them appropriately Learn and apply new technologies and business concepts Maintain personal accountability for getting things done on time and with quality results Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to business leaders Be willing and able to travel on occasion (Education and/or Experience: 5+ years - Building end-to-end reporting solutions; delivering robust architecture designs and high-quality reports with extensive experience translating business needs into reporting requirements A degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience of 3+ years overall IT or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired At least 3 years of experience with large scale reporting platform technologies (e.g. Jaspersoft, Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Sisense, Business Objects, OBIEE, Cognos, etc.) Experience with a mix of relational and cloud database technologies like Microsoft SQL-Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift, etcPreferred Skills: Previous Supply Chain or Logistics industry experience strongly preferred Experience working with data from the following technologies is a plus: ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, HRIS Prior software development experience is also preferredLLPRWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
