We Are Hiring: Join our Spiritual Care Team as a full time
Spiritual Care Specialist at Ascension Providence - Novi, MI.
What You Will Do: Organize and coordinate activities and flow of
work for pastoral care services to optimize clinical coverage,
staff development and oversight, and collaboration at the national
- Provide guidance as a member of the interdisciplinary
healthcare team by serving as a knowledgeable, ethical, and
religious resource for patients, families and healthcare
- Coordinate staff assignments to ensure appropriate pastoral
- Oversee department staff to ensure the provision of quality
- Serve as a member of the pastoral team to implement new
departmental strategies, directions, policies, and procedures. What
You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Board Certification from the APC, NACC, CASC, or the NAJC at
time of hire or job transfer Education:
- Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Studies or
related field is required.
- 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by ACPE is
required. Work Experience:
- 1 year of experience required.
- Eligibility to pursue certification as an ACPE Educator
- Experience in inter-faith chaplaincy preferred. Why Join Our
