This position is headquartered in Novi, MI, and includes some remote/flexible arrangements. The salary range is commensurate with experience. This position is primarily responsible for fast response and triage of incoming employee support requests. They will interface directly with our users regularly and are expected to excel in customer service.Why do we all do what we do here? To give food a home. If this position sounds appetizing to you, read on!Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:* Provides Service Desk Support to employees in multiple locations by prioritizing, troubleshooting and resolving problems quickly* Setup, configure, and maintain Windows and MacOS computers in a Windows domain environment* Performs basic laptop repairs and upgrades - SSD's, keyboard replacements, RAM upgrades* Onboarding of new hires - training them on our applications and processes, using their laptops/docking stations, and working remotely* Maintains administration of user IDs and passwords, grants clearance to systems and applications as appropriate* Experience with the following: Windows and MacOS hardware and software troubleshooting, remote support applications, installation/usage of cloud storage and security applications, and inventory management* Maintains knowledge of current technology and stays informed and educated about new technological advancements in order to provide cost effective solutions for the company* Accurate time management and ticket tracking including:* Prompt entry of notes and response to users* Proper ticket handling through response and escalation* Creation of a service request for all work performed* Timely escalation of service requests to the appropriate resources* Ongoing contribution to and maintenance of documentation* Understanding of all business processes associated to the position* Basic LAN/WAN, DHCP, and DNS understanding* Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy proficient* Strong Microsoft Office skills* Experience in the creation and deployment of training on new and existing IT systemsQualifications:* 2 year degree in computer science or equivalent experience* 2 years of Help Desk Experience* First-rate customer service skills* Proven track record of client support* Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to handle multiple priorities/deadlines while thriving in a fast-paced environment* Ability to solve problems with varying levels of complexity* Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly* Active listening and commitment to customer care and satisfaction* Passion for teamwork, career growth, and knowledge sharingWe love when our team members are happy and healthy!
