Job Description Technical Coordination vehicle development activities for powersports vehicles, sports cars, and heavy trucks* Support Calibration and Project Management team for Bosch ESP functions (ABS, Traction Control, Stability Control) to meet Bosch and customer performance, commercial and timing targets * Daily coordination with a multi-disciplined team of engineers to achieve goals / targets. * Report status of technical and/or commercial topics to Project Management and Department leadership. * Monitor, track and drive to completion the technical list of open points. * Collaborate with HW, SW, Project Management and Calibration teams working to further develop Chassis Controls systems. * Establish and maintain a positive relationship with the OEM as an engineering contact. * Troubleshoot bench testing and/or vehicle issues which occur during development. * Travel to support development activities and/or project team offsite activitiesAn ideal candidate will have the following:* Interest in a career in engineering involving vehicle dynamics, software development, or automotive component and system design. * Ability to perform in-vehicle performance driving.* Good working knowledge of vehicles.* Motivated and fast learner of technology.* Ability to professionally represent Bosch.* Willing to travel and participate in test sessions if needed.* Valid drivers license required.* Experience with test track activities, limit handling of vehicle, andabove average driving capability, experience with ABS, TCS, and ESPtechnologies highly desired. Qualifications * Bachelor Degree in Engineering i.e. Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Cybernetics, etc.* Valid driver s license required.* Academic or industry experience with Stability Control Systems* Physics and vehicle dynamics experience gained through academic, industry or personal hobby exposure.Preferred* 4+ years experience with vehicle and system test and release procedures in automotive or related industry.* Experience with requirement management process and tools (DOORs)* Good understanding of vehicle architecture and chassis control interfaces.* Vehicle performance driving experience (precise handling at physical limits with a safety first attitude).* Programming skills (e.g. Matlab, C) and experience in simulation methods (e.g. CarMaker, ASCET,)* Ability to work effectively as part of an international team* Passionate about cars at a professional level and beyond* Participation in applicable Formula SAE, Ecocar or similar student organizations* Advanced driving capability (motorsport, car club, etc.) Additional Information By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.BOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives FIRST Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) AWIM (A World In Motion)*Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
