FP&A Business Partner
The FP&A Business Partner will be an influencer within the
organization. Interacting with all levels of the organization, you
will provide guidance through your ability to narrate financial
predictions using past and present information. As a key
contributor, the Business Partner will be expected to challenge,
lead through influence, and help transform insights into action
throughout the org.

This role will report to the Manager, FP&A and will support a
cross-functional client group aligned to a key product category.
This role will work in partnership with our new product development
teams.
Partnership Expectations
Advise and support the business in areas related to future state
financial performance including:
* Finance consulting and coaching (e.g., interpreting financial
results and measures in the context of business operations)
* Providing forward looking financial insight on market conditions,
competitors, and alternative business scenarios
* Improving the quality of internal and external financial data to
drive business decision making and performance
Core Responsibilities
* Conduct monthly reporting, forecasting, and annual business plan
preparation
* Analyze operating results and monthly forecast and provide
management with a clear understanding of the company's financial
performance and key business drivers including analyzing results by
channel, customer, and product line
* Focuses on short and long-term financial planning and analysis of
business operations to measuring and forecasting future business
performance including:
* Analysis of internal financial information (e.g., profit loss
accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, prices,
expenses, revenues, rates of return, etc.)
* Analysis of external economic conditions and their impact on
business operations (e.g., inflation, interest rates, exchange
rates, etc.)
* Financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of
financial transactions and corporate development activities
* Develops complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation
and plans for projects
* Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of internal operations to
develop forward-looking focus
* Providing expertise and advice to managers to help them develop
budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial
responsibilities
* Presenting findings and recommendations to top executives;
preparing financial reports that may include financial analyst
reports, including profit and loss detail
* Development and maintenance of planning and budgeting systems;
analysis and interpretation of trends for executive leaders; and
preparation of findings and specific recommendations to senior
leadership team
* Perform ad-hoc analyses on strategic projects

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business
Administration (or a related field)
* Minimum of 8 years of financial analysis experience
* Including 5 years of progressive work experience in the
manufacturing sector
* Willingness to travel (15%+ of time)
* Project Management experience and strong organizational
skills
* Experience with JDE, Hyperion Financial Management, Stratum and
data mining
* Advanced Excel/VBA skills preferred
