role is for a Senior Engineer - Electrical on our team with a focus
on BMS and power converters to facilitate the global electric
vehicle adoption and energy decarbonization. We are looking for
passionate engineers who share our values. Our team is comprised of
various integrated disciplines, including mechanical, structural,
thermal, electrical, and software. Therefore, collaboration in
group settings, ability to solve system integration challenges, and
clear communication are valuable to becoming a successful team
member.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop
battery management systems and power converters.Lead the circuit
design, testing, worst case analysis and DFMEA.Develops schematics,
perform PCB layout, and work with external suppliers for
fabrication.Brings up hardware designs, identify issues and quickly
solve them.Interface with tier 2 suppliers on component selection
and future generation component development.Mentor junior engineers
in all aspects of circuit design.Support BMS control and diagnostic
algorithms to achieve desired functionality, robustness, and
safety.Support DV/PV test plan development.Support field returns
and resolve quality issues.Other duties as
assigned.QualificationsTo perform the job successfully, an

MS, or PhD in a relevant field (Electrical/Computer Engineering,
Mechatronics, Electronics, etc)3+ years experience in electronics,
electrical systems design, controls, or a related fieldExperience
in product designExperience in board design, layout, fab, and
bring-upStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with
capability to design and conduct complex experiments.Experience
working in an automotive related companyStrong written/verbal
communication and organizational skillsPhysical DemandsThe physical
