Job Description:

Our client is looking for Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist in the Novi area Key Responsibilities --- The IT Sr Specialist Infrastructure will primarily be responsible for assisting with support of the infrastructure at the Corporate Head Quarter Novi MI location as well as other remote North American plant specific infrastructure related sites projects. --- Work with third party vendors and outside services providers --- Assist with remediation assigned security group identified tasks to help eliminate vulnerability within the environment not limited to server, network, workstations, applications etc. --- Back up and restoration of servers, including disaster recovery simulations, using Enterprise software solutions --- Maintain and troubleshoot various infrastructure related systems: --- Nutanix, Windows Server, VoIP Phone Systems, Copy Machine, Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Mobile Management, Email Filter and Web Filter Management, Various 0365 Services, Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and group policies --- Positively contribute to effective teamwork and cooperation with interacting departments, including Japan --- Participate in Kaizen/Continuous Improvement activities. --- Help Desk, Checking Server/Application health, other IT related activities - IT Training to end-user, documentation, research etc --- Adheres to the Performance Evaluation process to ensure individual performance goals are aligned with department goals --- Possible up to 10% travel to other facilities Education & Experience Requirements --- Bachelor's degree required (Information Management, Computer Science or similar) or equivalent years of experience --- Minimum of 5 years in an IT related field Skills Required Virtualization experience, Nutanix, VMWare, MS Ecosystem Products including but not limited to MS SCCM, O365, as well as various Windows Server versions, Power Shell Experience, ConnectWise Manage Automate and Control, Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam One using. --- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and positive attitude. --- Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal), and positive attitude. --- Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality --- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment --- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, task-oriented skills --- Excellent attention to detail --- Ability to make and deliver presentations --- Risk management skills
