Job Description:

Purpose of the PositionThe A/R Coordinator is responsible for maintaining company cash flows, accurately recording cash flow activity into the general ledger by managing accounts receivable. This position is also responsible for credit and collections. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.Main TasksResponsible for processing of Accounts Receivable and cash applications.Sends invoices as required.Maintains the company Accounts Receivable trial balance for unapplied customer payments and performs required maintenance.Manages collection efforts of delinquent customer payments and reports status on a monthly basis.Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness. Follows up with Sales department for resolution of problems.Works with Sales to resolve customer payment discrepancies.Performs other duties as assigned.CompetenciesGood problem identification and solving skills, confident decision making ability.Proficiency with MS Office and data entry.Familiarity with ERP financial management systems, SAP experience preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with credit/collections and freight/duty billings processes.Strong time management and organizational skills.Dependable and independent worker.High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Requirements ProfileAssociates degree from an accredited College with a concentration in Accounting or Business; or AAS Degree.Three to five years of experience in Accounts Receivables and Credit & Collections, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Physical requirements: ability to sit at a desk 80% of the work day, ability to use a computer 70% of the work day.Kistler is the global leader in dynamic measurement technology for measuring pressure, force, torque, and acceleration.
