Located in Lyon Township, MI, SW North America is a technology focused company that supplies solutions for demanding, workpiece-specific manufacturing systems for the metal working industry. SWNA's equipment is used worldwide, particularly in the automotive and aerospace industries, in hydraulics and pneumatics manufacturing, and in many other emerging fields and markets.The PositionThe Company is adding a Mechanical Technician to its team to manage all activities related to the custom build and repair of CNC machines, including fabrication, construction and install. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will play a vital role in SWNA's operations and contribute to the overall success and growth of the Company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the set up and tear down of CNC machine tools, as well as automation and robotic systems. This includes connecting the electrical and pneumatic supply to the machines, filling and checking all necessary fluids, carrying out minor repairs, and preparing machines for transport. The position will also support the service department and assist with daily functions as needed.
