Responsibilities:
Position Summary/ Primary Purpose Are you looking for an Information Technology internshipthat will give you valuable hands-on experience? Our Co-op/ Internship program at Daifuku North America Holding Company will combine your education with practical experience on the job.We are currently looking for bright and talented college level students who are interested in bringing their passion to life and to be part of our future as a global material handling systems world leader. Major Areas of ResponsibilityProvide support and basic trouble shooting for current operationsInvestigate, gather, report on and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasksIdentify and implement cost reduction, service delivery, security and process improvement ideasImplement new IT processes and systemsContribute to the success of the team by taking on additional responsibilities and completing tasks as assignedKnowledge Proficiency with allMicrosoft Office products (Especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience using cloud-based or SaaS applications.Interest, experience and/or academic focus in general and administrative business functions.Interest, experience, and/or academic focus in information and technology.Interest, experience, and/or academic focus in data analytics.Understand communications and change concepts (marketing, branding, learning, and adoption)Understand business management concepts (budgeting, procurement, contracting).

Skills & Abilities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal skills with focus on teamworkStrong organizational skills and written communication skillsAvailability to work 24-40 hours per week, Mon-Friday, 8am-5pm, ongoing (not seasonal)Self-managed, hard-working, great attitude, ready to learnEducation & Experience Actively enrolled in and pursuing a B.S. or M.S.degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technologyor equivalentTraining and/or certification in business analysis, project management, ITIL, and/or Agile practices a big plus.Demonstrated Physical Abilities Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
