Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Social
Worker role is available for the upcoming semester in a K-12 school
setting located in Canton, MI. This position offers an opportunity
to provide meaningful support to students in both middle and high
school environments. The role is contract-based with a start date
as soon as possible and extending through June 5, 2026. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide social work services to students,
addressing academic, social, and emotional needs. - Collaborate
with teachers, staff, and families to develop supportive
strategies. - Conduct assessments and develop individualized
intervention plans. - Support crisis intervention and case
management as needed. - Maintain thorough documentation in
accordance with school policies. Qualifications: - Required
authorization: SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work OR MDE
School Social Worker Credential. - Experience in school social
work, preferably within middle and high school settings. - Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to manage a
caseload effectively while providing direct student support.
