A well-established K-12 school in Sterling Heights, MI, is seeking a licensed Social Worker to support both General Education and Special Education students. This contract position requires a dedicated professional to provide social-emotional support, behavior intervention, and serve as the 504 Plan Coordinator. The role demands close collaboration with staff, families, and administrators to promote a positive school environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver social-emotional support and behavioral interventions to students. Coordinate and manage 504 plans for eligible students. Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to address student needs. Support both General Education and Special Education students. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop effective support strategies. Qualifications: Masters degree in Social Work. Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker. Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting. Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Location & Schedule: Sterling Heights, MI. Onsite position. 37.5 hours per week. Contract through the current school year, ending May 15, 2026.
